Some may know, most don't that along with my journey into Real Estate, I am very interest in world sustainability. Illnois Green Alliance is a nonprofit that promotes a green lifestyle for everyone. They foster this through a member driven work enivornment that is dedicated to better, brighter, healthler places to live, work and learn - a lifestyle.

Illinois Green Alliance offers programs, advocacy and education to help combat climate change in Illinois. I am a Sustainability Facilities Mentor volunteer assisting building's with becoming net zero through their sustanable operations. 

Climate change is real and we all should know or be learning about how it affects us all. Engery, water and waste are major contributors. In my own efftorts to support this very important initative as I learn more ways to be of help - I recycle reguarly, I watch water and engery consumption in my household. Starting small is a start and one that can advance you to more areas of green as well as be a major resource in helping climate change.

In celebration of the 20^th Anniversary of Illinois Green, it's time to take Illinois' green building community to the next level.

Donations support:

• Illinois Green Schools Project: 42 schools are enrolled this year, and they need financial support to make their sustainability project a reality. Learn more about last year's projects, made possible by donors.

• Education: We will keep virtual education programs free in 2023, develop an annual Getting to Zero Illinois Summit, and expand programs that assist developers and owners on the latest trends.

• Policy: We will increase our capacity to support the implementation of CEJA and promote City of Chicago building decarbonization policy by connecting decisionmakers with building professionals.
