I really can't remember my sustainability origin story.

I remember yelling at my dad when I was little for cutting down a few trees in our back yard, deeply concerned that he was going to replace the 3' x 9' patch of beautiful greenness with condos (I think Counting Crows had something to do with this). I remember my sophomore year of college when a very cool professor tasked my classmates and I with commiting to a small, singular action to be more sustainable throughout the semester (shoutout Mrs. Wilgenbusch). I picked eliminating plastic grocery bags, and was so commited to this assignment that I would carry my loose groceries in my arms if I forgot my reusable bags. I remember the political environment in Fall 2016, and realizing it had been a while since I'd seen a proper midwestern snowstorm.

Idk why I am the way I am, but I'm here now, and I'm raising money for the Illinois Green Schools Project, to help educate the next generation of little weirdos who yell at their families for cutting down trees in their backyard. About the Illinois Green Schools Project
The Illinois Green Schools Project is a year-long sustainability initiative designed for K-12 schools in Illinois. Donations help support school projects and enable Illinois Green to provide mini grants to partiicpating green schools.
