As a sustainable architecture and design professional I'm excited to be a member of the Illinois green alliance Auxiliary Board. This year, the Auxiliary Board is raising funds for the Illinois Green Schools Project. 

In grade school, many of my favorite memories included playground gardening days and recycled trash art projects (trash spaceship pictured). These types of activities ignited a passion for environmentalism and creativity in me, ultimately leading to my career today. The Green Schools Project provides students around Illinois with hands-on opportunities like these! Including other personalized programs for schools to advance their sustainable education and lessen their school's impact on the climate.

The Auxiliary Board is a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting Illinois Green's mission to promote green buildings and sustainable communities for all. 

About the Illinois Green Schools Project
The Illinois Green Schools Project is a year-long sustainability initiative designed for K-12 schools in Illinois. Donations help support school projects and enable Illinois Green to provide mini grants to partiicpating green schools.
